Military Spouses on a Missione Visa in Italy Can Now Telework for US Employers

Dependents in Italy with a missione visa are now authorized to telework to U.S. employers.
· U.S. dependents of military members, civilian employees, and contractors stationed in Italy who have a missione visa are eligible to telework to jobs with U.S. employers
· A dependent's missione visa authorizes telework; no additional visa is required
· Status of Forces (SOFA) privileges will not be impacted
· Telework may be performed from your quarters
· Telework to non-U.S. companies remains unauthorized
U.S. military dependents who have questions about teleworking for U.S. employers can send an email to: usarmy.usag-italy.id-europe.mbx.remote-working@army.mil.
